Bandit Golf Course (Public)

Open 7 days a week from dawn till dusk every day except Christmas, this public course is open to any skill level but be warned, the dangerous slopes and altitude changes make this a tough course to tackle.
Pro shop, grill and open air pavilion with a very friendly staff. Reserve tee times up to 48 hours in advance for weekend play. Tee times taken up to seven days in advance. Collars required. Driving range and practice greens available.
Weekday rates are $44 plus tax. Weekend rates are $54 plus tax. Twilight, after 3 p.m., $34 plus tax weekdays and $44 plus tax weekends. Senior rates M-F $32 plus tax. All prices include golf carts. Driving range is separate.

Canyon Lake Golf and Country Club

This southside of Canyon Lake course offers a rolling, challenging, par 72 18 holes with a lake view.
Opens 7 a.m. each day until dark. Rates Monday through Thursday are $27 for greens including cart. Twilight rates are $15.
Green and cart fee Friday, Saturday and Sunday is $34 or $20 at twilight. Facility includes lighted tennis courts, a pool, banquet facilities, a bar and grill and pro shop. Memberships and homesites are available. Corporate and group outings are welcome. To reserve tee time call 830-899-3372.

Landa Park Golf Course (Public)

Founded in 1938, the Landa Park Golf Course lies within the Landa Park area and the beautiful Comal River winds its way around and through the par 72 layout. Golfers can enjoy a new clubhouse which boasts a new 19th hole grill, meeting rooms and a big screen TV. Tee times are taken 48 hours in advance, not counting weekends. Weekend times are taken on Thursday at 9 a.m. Fivesomes are not permitted on weekends.

Lee's Par 3 (Public)

Hours are 8 a.m. to dark, seven days a week. A round of golf is $5.50 including tax. Golf cart rental is also $5.50 including tax, while a pull-cart can be rented for $1.62, including tax.
Buckets of balls for the driving range are $5.50, $4.50 and $3.50. All prices include tax.

Northcliffe Golf Club

This 18-hole golf course, located off the north side of Interstate 35, has recently undergone extensive renovation. It includes a bar, snack bar and pro shop.
Monday through Friday, fees including golf cart rental are $27. Senior rate is $25; Military rate is $22. All include a cart and tax. Twilight fee is $27. Saturday, Sunday and holidays daytime fees are $35 and $23 to walk.

Tennis star John Newcombe found in the rolling hills outside New Braunfels the perfect setting in which to relax in the country and participate in one of the most successful tennis programs in the United States or Australia.
Adult and childrens’ tennis programs are available along with “Outback” adventures. Programs run year-round and are priced between $262 and $1,616. Junior camps (ages 8-18) run during summer months. Prices vary.

A tennis camp with a non-denominational, Christian flavor,  TBarM is located just up Texas 46 from Newcombe’s. Visitors have the opportunity to take part in unequaled tennis programs while enjoying life taking it easy on a ranch. TBarM offers leagues, camp experiences and lessons for adults and juniors.
Also included are special Wimbledon weekends for adults that run Friday through Sunday, as well as sports camps in the summer for youths age 7-12. Those who wish can just stay in the pool all day or sit under one of the shady oak trees on the ranch.
